I am unable to properly connect my Traktor Kontrol s4 Mk2. I looked up the troubleshooting online and came across the info that both NIHostIntegrationAgent and NIHardwareService need to be running. Looking at my task manager, only the NIHardwareService is.

NIHostIntegrationAgent is not present AT ALL. I uninstalled and reinstalled both Traktor Kontrol and Traktor Pro twice. I am out of ideas. Please help.

thank you

Those services are not for Traktor.

NIHardware is for the Maschine hardware and NIHostIntegrationAgent is mostly for the Komplete Kontrol keyboards.

Your problem is the Traktor Kontrol S4 driver, which is not correctly installed. Check if you have the latest version of the driver, then uninstall it, remove your device from its USB port and then install the driver again

Thank you for your response! I was just about to get back here and either delete or comment that it got fixed. My issue was that I was convinced I had S4 MK2 but I actually have MK1.I bought this used years ago and only now getting in connected. Everything seems to be working great now that I downloaded the correct drivers! Thanks again

I had the same problem, was trying everything for more than 6 month. I was about to throw my engine away. And i too thought i had an MK2. Now everything works.
