"Slice"-Option doesn`t show up when in sampling mode
Just bought a Maschine MK1 on ebay and when I take a loop from an expansion pack or any other wav. file i only have the option 'record' and 'edit'. (hardware and software)
Seems like this problem isnt that common since I found nothing on the internet about it.
I installed the driver twice, restartet my computer but it just wont show up.
Hope anyone could help me

Looks like your in Audio mode. Try switching to the Sampler.
Then click squiggly wav button. You should be able to see “Slice” now

What version software are you using? Maschine 2 or 1

If your using software version 1.8
unplug the controller and install again, make sure the controller is not plugged in any time you install or update the software!

Hey thanks for helping!
Im using Maschine 2 (2.17.4)
Uninstalled all Maschine programms and after installing it new via Native Access (controller unpluged) the problem is still there. And after all that it still opens up the older project i was working on, so maybe i didnt uninstall ALL or maybe not the right way? I'll try that again...

Awesome, thank you so much! Is this also possible directly from the controller?

On the MK1 yes….”Sampling” button next to “Browse”…Upper left corner of the device.
