Weekends don't count, only business days, so thats 1-2 depending on the time you did it on Friday, seems normal.

Did you manually request a transfer via ticket or did you use the semi/automated option on your account settings? https://www.native-instruments.com/en/my-account/license-transfer/request-for-transfer/

The last option is usually fast, 1-2 days for me, sometimes same day after a bit but with Cyber Season going on delays might be longer than usual.

The seller gets a transfer code from the NI web site. That's usually pretty quick, or at least it has been whenever I've sold NI software I didn't need. I never needed to go through NI support when I sold something. The seller then sends you the code which you import it to your account and you then get the serial number which I think is pretty much instant.

I did a couple of transfers last week and 2 of them I received an automated response with the transfer ID within 10mins but another 2 had to be authorised by NI and that took a few days. From my experience full products were automated but upgrade/crossgrade products required NI authorization.

Please define what do you mean "long delay"?

For example, few days delay is not long, few weeks is too long

Thank you for replying to my post. They had the information Friday to Tuesday so 3 days. The transfer process was enacted by the person selling so I have had no involvement with the process. Undoubtedly Christmas and the upgrades purchased has led to a significant numbers of smaller sets requiring re-registration. I believe the seller has to forward me a code when he has received it. I will give it all some more time. Once again thank you.

Thank you all for offering help it is much appreciated. The product I am awaiting is an upgrade and I believe it is awaiting NI authorization or manual sorting as opposed to an automated response. I'll be patient a bit longer.
