Scrub with headset through a playing track

As a: regular active DJ playing different styles, including EDM, 80's and 90's music with analog instruments and irregular beats

While a track is playing on a deck, without impacting the playing, I want to quickly browse through it (scrubbing) on the stripe, listening on my headset.

So that I can review the track, identifying mixing opportunities, without having to load the track on a separate deck.

This wouldn't really work without disabling the default function. It would need to be some type of option. But I do agree there needs to be a function that does this. And also the ability to drop cues also. Currently the only way is to use an empty deck.
