Kontakt Factory Library 2 download fails everytime at 14.2 GB download

Native Access could not finish downloading Kontakt Factory Library 2 and it fails everytime at 14.2 GB.

This is very interesting that it must download 40 GB of data. Why not parsing it to smaller zip files and unite on the client instead of downloading a 40 GB whole file ?

I downloaded 79 GB of data on IK Multimedia and they parse the whole package into smaller pieces and never faced this kind of problem.

Do you have any idea ?

I also opened a case for that and still waiting a response.

    Check your internet connection, or just change into another one if you have it.

    I had the exact same issue, and I tried just that.

    For me, it worked.

    I have a stable internet connection and other downloads continue without any problem. I also changed to other download locations 5 times (different disks and different folders). But no issues.

    I never had a problem before for other staff from Native Instruments. This is the only problematic one on Native Access.

    November discount will be a nightmare :)

    Still having the problem. Tried to download again and it failed just at 14.2 GB.

    Very strange.

    With latest revision I could download it. I have no problem now.

    If it's ALWAYS failing at 14.2 GB, then you have some clues right there.

    • Where's your download going to?
    • Is that partition full?
    • If it's on Mac, did you grant full disk access?
    • If it's on Windows, do you need to empty the recycle bin?
    • Are you using disk quotas on that partition or drive?
    • Are you trying to use a NAS or other shared drive for the download or install folders?
    • Is it possible that your OS is not deleting old downloads?
    • Is there a broken download for this library sitting on that partition or in that download folder? If so, I would try to delete the broken one and re-attempt the download.
    • What OS are you on, Windows or Mac…and what version?
    • Did you recently install any other large libraries successfully? Which library? And did it go to the same download folder?

    I've got the same problem but it's failing at 4.29gb. I get a "download failed" error with no explanation. Other libraries going to the same disk in the same location have no issue. I use Windows…if someone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated!
