If I buy a new Play Series item will it be compatible with Kontakt Player 7.4.2 also Exp packs?

Is there a way to download or buy new and previous play series titles that will work with Kontakt 7.4.2 or Kontakt 6. I’m a lil apprehensive of buying anything in the cyber sale offer because I hear these items only work on Kontakt 7.7

    All future Play Series titles will require at least Kontakt 7.6 and up.
