Native Instruments MASCHINE MIKRO Mk3 Controller

I have Maschine 2 essentials plus Maschine 2 Factory selection that I have been using with my S88 Mk2 ... I have been given a 2nd hand MASCHINE MIKRO Mk3 Controller and want to know if there is anything I need to register on my account regarding this item.

I have been using NI for some years and have a great library I use with the S88 so I'm not a newbie but I am with this new piece of kit ..

Any help ?🧐

I think that you are supposed to get the hardware serial transferred to your account..

Your situation is basically the same as if Buying or Selling a Native Instruments Product Second-Hand : https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210288845-Buying-or-Selling-a-Native-Instruments-Product-Second-Hand

If the previous owner for whatever reason can not transfer serial to you then you will have to take that up with support and see what they say ! (it happens sometimes that previous owner is e.g. diseased) : Registration support : https://bit.ly/NIsupport_RA
