Maschine mk3 + a49 - how to get white keys only scales

Using Maschine MK3 and Komplete Kontrol A49. Want to achieve playing scales selected in scale mode on the white keys only of the A49. What is described as Easy Mode

"Easy Mode In Easy mode, the notes of the selected scale are mapped to the keyboard so that any scale can be played using the white keys of the keyboard only. The black keys are inactive and pressing them will not trigger any other notes."

I have been so far unable to get the scales mapped to the white keys.

Any help appreciated.

To select in which key mode the keyboard is set you must use the third knob once the scale mode edit is activated using SHIFT + SCALE (Edit).

In general, the functions labeled on the kb buttons between the parenthesis are accessed with SHIFT

I was setting the SCALE with SHIFT + SCALE but failing to click SCALE after (without shift to enable SCALE mode)
