Traktor pro 3.10 skipping on loading new track

With the latest update i notice Traktor has a little skip or pause each time a new track is loading (by auto load) in the deck that's not playing.

The skip is on the live deck, it might be a sync reset or so but i can notice it and it shouldn't happen. I don't know if it goes out on the live feed or just the headphones.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I have the same problem. Hope it won't go out on the live feed

I don't know if it goes out on the live or not, maybe i'll have to make a recording, but i can sure hear on just about every transition in my headphones.

Yes, I thought this was related to me upgrading to a new macbook, moving library, and maybe I needed to analyze al tracks again, but that didn't help. I need to see about opening a case for this.

It does affect the audio out - recordings and the live audio. I don't know how this isn't the hottest topic on traktor forums right now..

Just tested and it seems like the issue happens when sync is on... tested same exact two tracks with sync off and no skipping of the incoming track when the load happened. When I disable "auto-load track", of course it doesn't happen. Guess that's the workaround for now..

Yes, i was thinking it was a sync issue to, and i tend to keep sync on. Now that you mention it, some sets i just let it go on auto with no sync and i don't remember getting it then.

If turning off auto load works, it's a good find for a work around. (But i do like that feature for prepared sets.)

We need to get this to their attention since we know now it goes out on the output feed.

It would be good if you had time to test it with the current beta and if necessary make a bug report and / or open a support ticket with this case.

I have opened a support ticket for it, now that it's confirmed i'm not the only one.

I'm not sure i have access to the the beta, if so i would test it.

I won't be able to test it with the beta but I also opened a ticket and they asked for a video of the issue.. I would think by now they are working on it.. I asked for an update since it's been since the 18th when I uploaded it.

Is there any update on this problem?

It's still there in the latest version of Traktor

I've had a case opened for a while now.. and yes - tested the latest version and it is still happening.

My contact tells me he can't reproduce the problem.

Seems like sync needs a very small time to it's job.

Why did you not use Auto-Playlist for that Job? You still have the advantage of gentle fading in and out. The crossfade time is adjustable.

Autoload is when the next track in a playlist automatically loads after the outgoing track reaches the end of play. It's not a dire break in workflow without it, but it's one less thing to worry about if you have a planned set. The workaround for now is to turn it off in settings.

Auto mix is totaly different from auto load. Auto load is very handy since i don't have to drag or scroll and load the next track for a prepared set.

My crossfades also tend to be of various lengths and with some partial fading (bass/highs).
