Would it be interesting to have the ability to create custom preset banks for you're user nksf presets?

I set about working on a little app to create them. Mac only I am afraid (I only do Xcode / Swift).

Please find a beta version of NKSF Preset Banker attached.

Native Mac application

(macOS 14 Sonoma or greater required).

Create your own banks of user presets. Simply drag and drop any .nksf preset file onto the app, edit the uneditable, reload the user library to see the changes.

More updates to follow.

One request - can you please add a sub bank field too?

Will this also work with Massive X patches? May be a way for users finally to be able to edit bank fields and make their own banks, that would be a godsend

Sub banks is easy to implement, just not sure how they appear in the likes of massive x etc, need to do some testing.

Currently it does work for Massive X patches, and it does create custom user banks inside the plugin as well as in the standard banks list.

I added my own custom artwork for this example, You'd normally just get the default Massive X artwork for the bank inside of the plugin.

I don't think Massive X uses sub banks but Komplete Kontrol does and they are very useful to have. Thanks again

Not at the moment. I plan to implement the batch processing ability, fairly straight forward in the backend, but will need to figure out a UI that isn't confusing, as it will retain the ability to do a single preset.

Basically I'd like you to ba able to drag and drop a single .nksf file (as currently) or a folder containing multiple .nksf files

Sub banks have been added (seems fine), just going to do a bit of testing,

Going to allow Vendor editing, with a small guard rail, as you'd need to add your own artwork files if you change the vendor, so you'll have to purposefully unlock the vendor field for it to become editable.

Also adding sparkle for automatic in app future updates.

If anyone has a lead for any existing script / code, in any language, that will automate the creation of preview .ogg files, I'd love to add that ability, thats the real pain point as I see it.

Thanks this is awesome work, I can't test yet as I'm being cautious about Sonoma but may bite the bullet soon (was thinking today originally but not sure, I usually wait longer with MacOs updates)

With respect to delete then I am not sure since I can not delete either , maybe only people with Moderator privileges can delete ! ?
