Digital DJ Tips have just dropped an initial impression review via FaceBook - it is indeed an X1mk3.
Not sure we needed one (and certainly not before other devices), but there it is.

If this thing is moddable then the first thing getting modded in will be a browse mode overlay a la S4MK2 using the knobs for navigating the browser tree and preview. Not sure how soon (or if) i will get an x1, but if there is readable qml code, i will be up for it. ^^
