Switching from deck A to deck C via computer keyboard

Hello.

The button on my controller that changes the A/C deck is having a problem. I want to know which key on the computer represents this command to change decks?

If it's NI hardware you are using, you are out of luck. Deck switch is a controller-internal state.

It sounds like you will need to 1. Replace the button or 2. use a different available button on your hardware to set up a modifier and build second layer for the Deck C.

Or if your controller has QML support then linling the MIDI button to the Deck Switch would allow for keyboard control over deck switching, just a thought.

I may have been to quick and too harsh with my initial answer. I have been guided by my experience with the S4Mk1 and S4Mk2, both having recessed deck switch buttons with fast degrading sensitivity.

Which controller are you having trouble with?
