red flashing CD/vinyl logo

Hey!

Does anyone know the reason the CD/vinyl icon in Traktor flashes red sometimes? (see pic)

Thanks!

    Hey @Jay McQueen,

this behavior refers to a rather bad timecode signal - something a malformed scope also indicates. Usually, this is caused by worn-out or dusty needles.

Or probably your should replace your Timecode Vinyl if its old, dusty, scratched.

Check also all your connections. Pins in the tonearm, cables and connections.

Sometimes it happens also, when you have to much weight on your needles.

Thanks, guys! I actually just bought brand new timecode vinyl so I'll see how it looks once I use those for the first time.
