Hi at all,

actually i have a Lenovo with

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz  1.80 GHz

8Gb of RAM

and 256Gb of SSD drive.

When i substitute my s4mk2 with mk3 i feel some latency and sporadic glitch when i use 2 track and a remix deck.

I set buffer at 4msec and 1024 samples and i have no glitch.

Without use remix deck i using with good performance and no glitch with 2ms buffer and 96 samples.

I think so substitute this laptop with a Lenovo Ideapad:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.8Ghz

8Gb of Ram

and 512 GbSSD

I hope that characterist is top to use S4Mk3 with latency tending to 0.

Could you advise me for a better purchase?

Many thanks

Hard to say for sure. Should be OK.

I do not know how much memory Traktor needs for your setup. 8 GB might be OK, 16 GB might be better. And more future proof.

You may check, how much memory Traktor uses at your current notebook. And mainly how much RAM is left unused....

Latency will not be tending to 0. Audio interfaces always introduce nonzerro latency. Some more, some less. If you need minimal latency, RME audio interface might be the way to go. But not unexpensive one.
