I am external mixing with djm900nxs2, 2xdj, 1turntable.

I put the turntable on C under scratch input and see the waveform and can hit play but unable to get the scope to pickup the timecode.

thanks for the help.

No. I didn't use the setup wizard. I just connected the turntable and timecode vinyl. what would I select in the wizard for 1 turntable and 2 cdj and external mixer?

    thanks

Do you using your DJM900 NXS2 also as the dedicated interface / soundcard? Can you hear the sound through you mixer if you hit play? Do you connect your Turntable to the Phono Inputs and select the right source on top of this Channel? In the setup utility from your DJM 900 NXS2 you can choose between line and phono signal (See my screenshots for the phono selection)

e.g. Channel 1 is your turntable and channel 2 & 3 are for your CDJs - Select the right mixer inputs & outputs for channel 1 in the Preferences from Traktor. Above your Channel 1 select the right Input source (in this Case USB A or USB B)

I do use the djm nxs2 mixer as my sound card.

after i use the set up wizard and set it for scratch mode- the xdj-1000 players (used as controllers to scratch mp3) show "low signal" and when i switch the xdj to internal the turntable then looses the ability to read timecode and doesn't work.

is there any way to just select 1 turntable at the setup wizard?

    thank you

No the wizard has some presets like 2 decks and 2 scratch decks and so on, then you can set it manually as you need it, use the presets as a base. So you use the 2 xdj 1000 also with time code and want one deck more with TT timecode?

i did that. it was fine but then i started giving me a "too low signal" on the xdj-1000s so i changed them from scratch mode and the error stopped but so did the connection to the time code.

    thanks
