Maschine 2 SW crashes on pad press when chord position is set to "auto"

I was browsing the Maschine MK3 documentation (Scale and Chord Parameters) and noticed that in chord mode it is possible to set the position (page 2) to "Auto". The option is at the foot of the list of available options. The default is "Root".

Upon choosing "Auto" I have found that Maschine nearly always crashes after hitting a pad. This happens regardless of project and instrument. The crashes seem to be caused by any configuration for scale and chord type. I'd say the software becomes unresponsive 9/10 times on the first consecutive hit of the pads. Both the hardware and software interfaces become terminally unresponsive.

Has anyone experienced this issue?

I'm using:

• Maschine 2 SW (2.17.4)
• Maschine MK3
• Mac OS (Ventura 13.0)

No, there is no debugger. The only thing you might do is to reinitialize its database, though i can not see how this will help you case.

Correct, I have followed all recommended steps to fix generic crashing issues.

FYI, I've narrowed the issue to a single set of chord types which trigger the crash 100% of the time on consecutive pad presses:

• 1-3-5-7
• 1-4-7

Other sets seem to be OK under some circumstances, of which I am unaware.

Does anyone know if Maschine 2 SW exposea a debugging log that I can review?
