As much as I'd like to see Traktor Pro "beat Rekordbox and Serato", I just don't see it happening.

Keep in mind that Native Instruments is a huge part of audio production. The Kontakt libraries and other plugins and even the keyboard line is a giant money maker.

My guess is that NI is not focused on the Dj part as much because of there is not a constant flow of money from sample packs and also upgrades. Pretty much as soon as someone buys a Traktor controller the money stops coming in.

Not forgetting Roland x Serato controllers. Financial muscle does mean something. Let's see NIs next move or lack of. Minimally the real time stems separation would be a must imo.

Elastic beatgrids are my number one request.

Traktor needs to sell itself on being the number one dvs software.

It has the most vinyl-like sound when fast scratching.

They need to play nice with phase too because they lost a lot of djs to that product.

A Z2 mk2 would go a long way to winning turntablists back but the current owners don't seem to make the well-built products NI used too.

NI: We will update the road map this month (june)

    Me thinking: Yeah right

    Turns out I won.

We won’t know how this affects Traktor until NI releases new DJ hardware. Let’s be honest, the third party manufacturers are going to focus on the software with the biggest market share, and it isn’t Traktor.

NI have remained silent about new hardware since hinting that it was in development pre-Covid. I’m guessing they canned it altogether.

    x10^10^100!!!

To say that InMusic\Denon Dj support - especially for it's older products - is as much use as a secondhand truss, would be overstating thier usefulness!!!

Mind you, Traktor has long been terrible at taking onboard legitimate user suggestions to improve functionality and fix bugs.

I still believe that Traktor Pro has the best beat gridding out of all it's competitors.

But It's unresponsive to users, and It's user base is shrinking with every day that passes.

So I do fear for it's future. In fact, I'm suprised it's still a thing - and I love Traktor Pro.

I've been wishing for a Traktor Pro Controller with all the features of a Rane or Pioneer DJ setup like Serato for years. I've made the switch to Serato & It's pain up to get use to Serato. It's No Way near the ease of using Traktor Pro 3 & the Serato display is another issue.

NI needs to step up their game, because from the looks of things Serato is making moves to lockdown Pioneer & Rane. I see no movement from NI with anything to get in with Rane & Pioneer DJ to have a NEW Controller for Traktor Pro 3 that you can operate all of the features in Traktor Pro 3.

I have the Rane Twelves MKII setup with my Traktor Kontrol Z2, which was a nice step towards making Traktor Pro 3 more relevant & moving forwards with some new controller options. But, not all of the mapping for Rane is complete. I would love use the full Rane setup with Traktor Pro 3....

NI, as a loyal user for years, I asking for a major update for a NEW Traktor Pro 3 controller with large motorized jog wheels & full intergration with the Traktor Pro 3 software. This would be major in reviving Traktor Pro 3 DJ's.... #STAYBLESSED
