maschine programmer OSC library reference

Hi,

there's any reference about how to control the maschine hw via OSC messages?

like set pad color, change screen text, get encoder values, etc etc

controlling your maschine controller... colours etc can be done by converting OSC to midi in indexed.. but works obviously in maschines midi-mode only,(exception being a handful of host controls whilst in maschine mode)

there is a powerful VSTi that works only in Reaper that makes this possible and has the OSC side of things tied in as well.. Realearn by helgoboss is a very powerful VSTi which to me provides alot of control to midi controllers like maschine/maschine jam and many other control surfaces & OSC.

again Realearn is built around Reaper, but can be used in conjunction with virtual ports to output midi

so basically OSC--->Realearn conversion to midi---->(reaper)--->Output to controller &/or to ----> virtual ports

you could in essence set up a blank Reaper template and put your configured Realearn VSTi's and use it as a middle man,,, the degree of functionality you will get depends only the external application you wish to control, and how well it implements midi... additional .AHK hacky methods could be implemented ie.. midi to keypress/mouse click etc but that comes with different sets of problems, application focus etc etc

no it´s all good old midi that can control pad colours on maschine (velocity). If you are in control editor go to help and open the manual there it should be chapter 9.3.
