Newly purchased Komplete Kontrol S88 directly from NI, Serial number already registered?

I recently bought a Komplete Kontrol S88 from the online NI store. It was delivered today, but it seems the serial number has already been registered. This purchase was also supposed to come with Komplete 14 Standard. The other posts here seem to cover second hand purchases or purchases from Guitar Center, etc,. I was curious if my product is actually second hand? Anyone with a similar experience?

Support added another serial number to my account, investigating what has caused this...

If it is second hand from NI store and it wasn’t mentioned, it would be serious. I doubt it, but I would open a ticket with support to ask for clarification

No, it was not mentioned to be second hand, and for what it's worth it didn't look like it had been used before. I did open a ticket yesterday, will keep this updated.

Good for you. If you say the keyboard looked fresh, maybe it was just a serial number fail
