I have Traktor on Windows 11 with ASIO4All, the sound is heard through the speakers.

But the problem Xsplit broadcaster / Butt cannot pick up the music on the speakers. How can I solve this. When I not using traktor/Asio4All I don't have this problem

Not an expert in streaming softwares, but probably you should use a program to route the Traktor audio to it (e.g. Virtual cable)

    • Add virtual audio cable or similar
    • In ASIO4all combine your current device with the audio cable.
    • In Traktor keep settings as is, but on record out, choose the new ASio4all virtual audio cable output

That's a very good advice, but instead of Asio4all i recommend (strongly recommend!) the VB Cable, or for more sophisticate solution the Voicemeeter, all by VB Audio. Really much higher level than Asio4 all and it is also free, unless you want the full Pro version which is really cheap (actually, it is "pay what you like"). 10 years customer there, i never had to look back to any other solution and i still use it as a master on my PC even if i do have a good audio card.

I do not know, what you cannot open in Butt.... You should open there right VoiceMeeter output.

I cannot help you with VM, I do not use it. I just had it installed on older computer and played with it little bit....

Thank you for giving me the direction. I will check the virtual audio cable. Never heard of that. Going to search for that.

    Thanks

It depends. To do what you want (rerouting) is extremely easy, even for a child, just 3-4 steps. But it can also be extremely complex on a full professional level

Just want to stream the audio to butt. Dont know what professional setting there further?

I was talking about the potentials of the program, regardless to what you want to do :-)

I installed it, but when selecting the VB-audio cable. I can't select my console output anymore.

How can I map those in traktor again?

see below If I have ASIO

    Below If I select VB-audio

no, no, audio cable is not for that!! it simply passes the audio signal from one application to another. It has not have ASIO! For ASIO drivers you need the Voicemeeter not the audio cable!

But, i see now you have PIONEER drivers, this is what you will use. unless you install Voicemeeter and add PIONEER as master on Voicemeeter, and then use the Voicemeeter ASIO everywhere else.

The Audio Cable is for use on Butt, not on Traktor. But with Voicemeeter you do not need it at all.

If you choose not to install Voicemeeter, then keep the Cable for Butt

hmm perhaps I didn't understand it.

I have ASIO for the setup as the first screenshot. But It looks that traktor (in windows 11) locks the output so that butt (or other broadcast software) can't select then software

in voiceMeeter I can't select the speakers :

Go to Butt settings and use, either Voicemeeter, either VB Cable, either ASIO4all here:

In Voicemeeter, first you select your output device, not the input! Always choose your best device and always the ASIO.

    STEP 1

    STEP 1-a

STEP 2 - System settings (you can do a lot of nice things there, such as route your card's ASIO to Voicemeeter Inputs):

    STEP 4:

Now you can deal with your inputs! ;-)

@Gerard77 final example: Butt is taking whatever sound it plays on your computer (from Traktor to Youtube) and playing it directly through Voicemeeter ASIO.

You do not need ANY input channel for this! ;-)
