M3U import and consecutive external update

When I create an M3U mostly using the Foobar, I can import it as Traktor playlist. However when I change the M3U outside of the Traktor playlist editor I have to delete the playlist and import it again. Is there any workaround for this?

• some format that would update in Traktor if edited outside
• refresh playlists within Traktor based on linked M3Us
• any other way

No, you can't have an external playlist that get updated.

You could make a smart / dynamic playlist based on some tag, and in foobar add that tag. Though you would also would need to make a consistency check inside traktor to refresh tags. Not a fun workflow.

You could use something like Mixo DJ or Lexicon DJ. If you have the funds for it.

Mixo can import and export playlist, traktor collection nml and many other DJ software. You can also manage your playlist in it.
