    Kontrol S8 not working after updates!!!!!

    What is the problem?

    Traktor application asks me to update VGA drivers!!!!😅

    I also experienced the crazy flickering screens with my D2 after update to 3.9.

    Rolled back to 3.8 for giggin. But still need solution.

    My D2 was OK, on the first sight. But good to know, I will well check my S5 before the gig.

    EDIT: Also OK on my S5.

    I'm using Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 with OpenGL DLL - 10.0.19041.2193 (WinBuild.160101.0800).

    I have experienced this flickering since the beta version on the new gfx-routines with nonfunctional opacity transitions (switching decks, FX-menu, Browser).

    With the RC and 3.9 i haven't seen it yet, although i haven't gotten any larger mods working at all.


    EDIT: There were graphics problems in the final beta version of 3.9., and they were recognized and kept unaddressed for the release candidate and it's official release. I can't understand why 3.9 was released in this sorry state instead of grinding through to a second release candidate. I would have been a happy stress tester.

    Now, recognizing what's done is done, i can only hope we'll get a patched update really soon, and that it is going to be a beta version so we can all help the team iron out the kinks.

    Sounds like the problem with old opengl drivers.

    Maybe try to update to these.

    I'm also having the same flickering issue with the S8, as posted here.

    I've just updated to Traktor 3.9.0, and I've noticed that both screens on my Kontrol S8 are now flickering quite severely - to the point where it becomes unusable.

    The flicker only occurs when connected to Traktor - thus, not in MIDI mode nor while idle. Drivers seem to be OK, as I still get audio out of it.

    My notebook supports OpenGL 4.6, so I assume that should be enough for requirements of the new version - "OpenGL Extensions Viewer" screenshot below:

    Are these also fault of outdated drivers? I'll take a look at the recommended ones. Thanks!

    Your drivers are almost a year old. Worth to try to update them.
