Hey, NI people!

I bought a brand new Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 from Muziker. I unboxed it and followed the instructions on the little black card. I went to www.native-instruments.com/setup-traktor and downloaded Native Access. I registered my account and confirmed my email. I entered the serial number of my S4 in Native Access - success, my HW was registered successfully. So far, so good - great experience. Then the pain started. I tried to download Traktor 3 Pro. It almost downloaded and boom - Download Failed error. I tried again and again but I got the same error. Here is what I did:

  1. I followed this guide https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005878409 I changed Download/Application/Content locations, I deleted .aria2 file - no success
  2. I followed JanTheMan's workaround https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/comment/65212/#Comment_65212 - no success
  3. I turned off my firewall. I do not have an AV software. - no success
  4. I started Native Access as an administrator - no success
  5. I restarted my laptop and logged in and out from Native Access numerous times - no success

    Status update:

While I was at work, NI released Traktor update 3.9.0. I was able to install it but it appeared as Demo.

    I followed this guide: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/4402377887121-My-Products-Are-Showing-As-DEMO-in-Native-Access

I tried to delete the folder but I wasn't able to due to daemon.log being used by the NTKDaemonService:

I had to stop the service (kill the process), delete the folder, start the service (services.msc), start Native Access, and finally, my Traktor was fully licensed after that.

Native Instruments, please make sure to update your guide. Some people won't know what to do when they see that the file is being used.
