I was wondering if Native Instruments could make support to bring their stuff over to iPad. Would be a game changer to making a beat on the go!

What do you guys think

Better would be if Apple fused iPadOS and MacOS. No need to port anything to iPad.

No.. NI would still need to optimize their products GUI for the iPad environment to make them competitive.

To do this quicker, NI could focus on the new Kontakt 7 library and all the Play Series first.

NI could then initially offer a subscription with just the content of the Kontakt 7 library and the Play Series. This would be awesome!

If Apple fuses iPadOS and MacOS into one that runs on Macs and iPads, NI might port their products for touchable. Better said, they might port it to touchable better way than it is now. There are some adjustments and NI SW works on Win with touch. But it is not perfect.

But I seriously doubt NI would make special version just for iPad. One OS more is pretty big burden. I understand iPad users would like it, but .... You should appeal on Apple to unify OS for iPad and Mac and not ask developers make special ports for iPadOS...

If MS is able to make OS that works on the both tablets and computers, Apple is able so as well. ;-)

I think NI will do this for their own profitable interests, not to appease me.

By you I meant Apple users, not you personally.

Exactly, if it is profitable, it will happen. IMHO, it is not going to be profitable unless Apple unifies iPad and Mac OS. I may be wrong, but the fate of iMachine and "Traktor for iPad" says about profitability a lot....
