Where can a 10-year old share their original music?

Hi,

My son has produced some musics using Maschine Mikro MK3. His friends and family love his music. But he is 10-years old and not able to post his music on most sites like SoundCloud, Newgrounds if I understand correctly their policies. Does anyone have suggestions for a 10-year old kid to share / post their original music online?

There's always Bandcamp. While I don't currently use it, l saw no reference to an age limit in their terms of use agreement. Give it a try and see if it works out for you. If not, I can always find you something else. Good luck!

10 is probably way too young for any known platform out there. Most want you to be at least 13, some 16 or 18 at best - depending on where you live.

@AstralWorks Bandcamp is "available only to individuals who are at least 16 years old", according to their Terms of Use.

You may have to share his music files with his friends locally until he reaches his teen years. Hope this helps.

No one takes those policies too seriously, but if you want to respect them then make the account yourself, as the father and caretaker, so it's technically "your account" that you allow your son to post with. Theres tons of children with their music out there.

I guess this would also help you keep an eye on whats going on in the account to make sure your child is safe.
