Same here, windows 10, updated a bunch of synths with native access, and massive x got flagged.

"glad" to see it's not just me.

It is because of MS virus scan, it detects some kind of trojan. Most probably there is no trojan, but better to wait....

I have the same problem on Win10. And many others as well.

I'm sure that this is simply a case of the file getting flagged falsely, and Microsoft has to update their virus definitions so that the NI installers/zip files won't be flagged incorrectly anymore.

Yeah, ******, but, that's the "wonderful" world of security software.

Yeah, nonsense, but, that's the "wonderful" world of security software.

    All,

I have exactly the same issue with Reaktor 5 re-installation.

Latest version of NA, Win10 (fully patched).

    Steve.

I came here to ask the same thing -

I've got the same prompt only in my case its on the executable.

Thats really bad if Native Instruments are introducing a trojan on peoples PC - They need to answer this quickly

It's just Windows Defender putting out false positives

    Hi @Raycmusic

Nice suggestion, but I have a couple of thoughts in mind on why it's not recommended.

This time it seems to be a false positive, but this will not always be the case.

The most recommended action is to wait for NI to release the "cure".

On Windows 11, my Massive X and Mashine 2.17 would not initially update because of the windows security threat feature blocked the install. You have to hit the allow button.

Thanks for the advise I finally fix it thanks to you guys

I took the risk and temporarily disabled the virus scan and excluded the download folder and was able to install massive x and maschine

Same issue with Maschine update as of 9:20 PT. I'm not counting on NI to do any heavy lifting on this matter and most likely just blame Microsoft anyway. Even more, reason why I'm moving 100% to UVI Falcon.

    Hands down the better software.
