Maschine studio hangs on startup screen

so when i google i find an old post about this it seems but when i click through it isnt on here.

basically as the title, it lights up all the colors phase across then just hangs on the maschine - groove production screens... Any advice, is there a hard reset of the hardware ?

It's not a midi controller in that sense. You need a few services that are usually installed with the maschine software, controller editor, driver, etc.

I have tried a few different cables so that doesnt seem to be the issue, the controller should boot in to midi mode though regardless of the maschine software being installed right ?
