Hello !!

I have a problem since the last update of Traktor. After installed the 3.8.0 version all my playlist are lost. Is there a way to recover them from the previous version ?

Thanks !

Hi @Nano, that is no problem. Just do the following:

    • Open Traktor
    • Click on Track Collection in the Browser Tree and select Import another Collection
    • Navigate to the folder Documents / Native Instruments / Traktor 3.x.x
    • Select the file Collection.nml and confirm
    • In the following dialogue, choose Collection tags

    Does that work for you?

Have just upgraded to 3.11 and same problem - all my playlists gone. Have tried the suggested solution of importing another collection and that doesn't work.

There should be a lot of different backups, from each time you closed traktor. All the recent ones give you an invalid error?

Same Problem here. First opening today gave me an invalid error for the whole collection (the file was empty, do not know why), importing the last "full" collection from the backup folder works for the tracks, but NO playlists...

    Any help?

I found this Entry in the logfile from the first start today (as the collection was empty) with "invalid" error:

    2024-04-04 07:49:48 - WARNING: Could not read collection/playlist file:C:\Users\nospa\Documents\Native Instruments\Traktor 3.11.1\collection.nml

2024-04-04 07:49:48 - ERROR: Error parsing XML: unterminated entity reference 'q' at line 3691 column 133

Any idea what is going on?

    Thx!

For some reason the playlists are back and correctly filled... I did nothing, maybe they needed time to rebuild?

do not konow what happened, but for now I am very happy...
