My new Electric Mint software not loading in Maschine 2

I just got the new Electric Mint software but cannot afford the new Kontact 7 yet but I thought I could hopefully play it it in Maschine 2 but it is not loading and was wondering why?

FYI: It plays the demo when I select each sound but again won't load.

    You should download and install the free Kontact 7 Player with Native Access. That should fix your problem.

    Hey Peter,

    You sure the Kontact 7 is free? I'm being asked to pay over $200.00 for it.

    Fortunately the Player version is free. Open Native Access, select "Available" and you'll be able to download that version for free. Or get it here:

    Definitely worth getting Komplete Start for free too though you'll have to download that one directly from the NI site. Some really great instruments, sounds and tools come with it.

    Thank you so much for this but still not able to download Kontakt 7. I'm on an old system (High Sierra 10.13.6) and I can't afford a 7k computer to upgrade, so maybe it's not compatible? Also if my operating system is not compatible I'm glad I have not purchased Kontakt 7 like it's asking me to.
