From version 3.5 onwards when we select "Search In Playlists" on a track, only the regular playlists in which the track exists are displayed. In the older versions the smartlists also displayed, but they were mixed with the regular playlists in one column and that confused users. It will be better for both the playlists and the smartlists to appear, but in separate columns as in the photo below.
