Crackling sound coming from speaker - Traktor S2

Hoping someone can offer some support. Having tested music played through the laptop and speaker only - the speaker works fine. When connected up to the S2 controller it created a crackling sound in the background. I have changed the printer cable (as advised on another forum) but its still happening...

Any advice appreciated.

Did you try to adjust buffer size and/or changing sample rate.

I would connect the S2 as a computer audio interface and play something other than Traktor to confirm the issue.

I’ve done that and nothing changes

Could be a defective device , could be just some noise induced/generated somewhere. It's one of them things that may both be difficult and unappreciated to try to troubleshoot when the obvious things to try doesn't fix it !

Are both Master and Monitor affected when you set as an OS audio device?

What OS version do you have installed?

Did you try a different USB Port?

Do you have access to a different computer?

Correct, could be also the amp/speaker that is connected to the s2

Yes I’ve tried all but I don’t have access to a different laptop also I bought another usb to connect laptop to deck and same problem still happens.
