Kontakt 7 and Cubase 5

Hi,

i recently replaced my old pc...
i reinstalled kontakt 7 and kontakt factory selection with native acess but 
i can't "see" them anymore in my cubase 5 daw...i have windows 11 os 64 bit... 
Is there anyone who can help me...??

Check if the installation path is in the Plugin list in Cubase preferences.

Maybe you retained Cubase preferences but in the new computer Kontakt and the library are installed in a different location.

Check in Native Access the installation paths for applications and libraries and see if they are listed in Cubase

Hi LostInFoundation,

i've placed the .vst3 file of kontakt7 in the relative .vst3 folder of cubase 5 but the daw still doesn't see the instrument...i can use only the preset of steinberg installed with the daw...

@vinciguerra Cubase 5 was discontinued in 2011, it might not sit very well with more recent operating systems and plug-ins.

Here are the installers for

Kontakt 6.8.0

Kontakt 5.8.1

Since you don't own them, it should work as Kontakt Players. If you need to get the full version of one of those you'll need to buy them second hand as we don't sell them anymore.
