You have to load an instrument preset before you can change views.

As @MyStudioOne said, or is it happening when you already have an instrument loaded? Can you share a screenshot of the issue then @Sandquay ?

Spitfire BBC Orchestra is not a Kontakt library, it's a plug-in of their own, so it will not show in Kontakt 7. It has NKS features and you should be able to hear previews when in Komplete Kontrol. Please check Spitfire BBC Orchestra manual and Spitfire resources: https://www.spitfireaudio.com/bbc-symphony-orchestra-discover#walkthrough

    Steep learning curve.

Seems can only get this when I load Kontakt.

Doesn't work with Spitfire BBC Orchestra. That just gives me a colour plan of the Orchestra, with no way of selecting or auditioning sounds.

Also can't drag & drop instruments into Kontakt7, whether in stand alone or within Komplete.

    Definitely NOT intuitive.

Still no idea what I'm doing / how to use.

All I want to do is to be able to set up a system to play orchestral & band music to link with Sibelius.

Been trying to follow YouTube Guides, but I'm not getting same screens.

This is posted in the Komplete Kontrol area so I'm not sure what the hang up is with mentioning Kontakt 7. Kontakt does not even have the options that this thread is asking about.

Anyhow. In Komplete Kontrol many 3rd party plugins that used to work - meaning the default/additional/edit views are greyed out.

Spitfire's plugs had these views working fine a few months ago but it's no longer working.

Please revert your changes that broke this.

Spitfire has many Kontakt plugins such as Solo Strings and KK allows the 3 different views for them. I use this plugin in KK3.0.3 and it looks like this.

Newer plugins, however (BBCSO being one of them) do NOT open in Kontakt as they are standalone plugins. Edit View is Kontakt only. thus the are greyed out like below...
