Kontrol X1 MK2 discontinued

Hi,

In several stores here in Spain they have told me that the X1 MK2 is discontinued, does anyone know anything? We are going to run out of this hardware as has happened with previous products or the MK3 has to come out very soon.

    You just may be right. Customers are always the last to be notified, it seems. 🥴

    Grab one before it's gone @ Music Store (DE).

    Yes, I think I should buy one, but I'm afraid that an MK3 come out soon if it's already been discontinued. Or maybe they won't release any new version.

    It's a good controller with a stable re-sale value. If you need one, i recommend you buy one now. 🍁

    We can safely assume that nothing new will be announced soon. If ya want em, grab em before they’re gone.

    You could also buy them used now. If a new version comes out you don't have as much value loss.

    I recently bought a X1 and Z1 combo for 105 EUR.

    No way I would pay 240 EUR for just a single X1 :S

    It has really had a strong price rise in recent months. Buying it second hand would also be a good option.

    Ah, the X1. Very good controller, I ad one second hand and sold it eventually for about the same price.

    Now I'm still using 2 F1s, the only NI hardware I have left.

    BTW I really don't understand their strategy for both DJ SW and HW. The competition is continuously dropping gear and software updates. The only thing NI seems to be doing is discontinuing products and implement useless features in Traktor SMH.

    I was quite surprised that they told me to discontinue the x1 since from my point of view it is one of the most mythical controllers from NI. That's why I thought of an imminent MK3, but seeing what has been happening, I find it difficult
