Purging with Cremona String quartet.

I'm using Cremona Strings in the multi because I only need to use the close mic position. There's too much room sound with the other two mic positions for most of my projects. Their blended mic's version also has too much room for my needs.

My question is: Can I just use the close mic position and purge the other two mic positions to save on memory and CPU? Because my CPU is currently choking using the multi...
