Komplete Kontrol Preferences - Library tab

I'm having an issue with Komplete Kontrol where I encounter this screen when trying to open the library tab in preferences. In addition to this issue - when I save a user preset it doesn't show up in the browser.

Has anyone else had this behaviour and is there a fix?

    Never seen that before but details about your system are needed. What OS? What graphics card and also, what is the resolution and DPI you are running, are drivers up to date?

    Is it just the library tab that is the issue, any other preference pages? What about Maschine, is it the same problem?

    have you tried uninstall and reinstall of KK?

    I have tried reinstalling KK - including deleting the registry entry in the process but no luck. Just checked and - yes - same behaviour in Maschine.

    My system is Windows 11 resolution of 1080p on 2 monitors. My graphics are a Nvidia Geforce GT 1030 (I use a very simple graphics card with only passive cooling so as not to add any extra noise in the room). Just updating the driver now as this hadn't occurred to me as a potential cause - fingers crossed.

    Unfortunately updating the graphics drivers made no difference

    Are you using any Windows system scaling at all? And if so, have you tried turning off, and setting a different base resolution?

    No - I'm not using any system scaling - scaling is set to the default OS setting of 100%

    Changing screen resolution also has no effect.

    It's worth noting that this is possibly more than a graphical error - all the other tabs in preferences function as expected, but when the library tab is clicked, this graphical issue appears and the other tabs then freeze up and won't open. The only button that continues to work after the library tab is opened is the close button (on the window not the the whole program).

    Just giving this a bump as I really want to get this fixed and I haven't heard back yet from NI tech support.

    All help is really appreciated

    Yeah I’m kind of stumped really. I’m thinking it’s graphics card related still, I’m Win11 with 3 monitors and haven’t seen this issue before especially in standalone KK.

    do you have Maschine installed and does that show the same thing?

    Yes - I have Maschine installed and the same behaviour occurs in the preferences window. I am able to access my presets though - I must have just navigated wrongly previously. So essentially the software works as expected except that I am not able to access the preferences in the library tab

    Hi @MrThursday if I remember correctly users with this issue was able to solve it by either formatting their computer or updating their OS. I've escalated the ticket you submitted to our support team. Keep us updated how you get on.

    Thanks @Kaiwan_NI I will look out for their email. Formatting the computer seems rather extreme - I have been keeping my eye out for windows updates since seeing something similar on a Maschine thread. I've done two Windows updates this week - neither seemed particularly major though - hopefully they are due for a release soon.

    Hi there @MrThursday! Have the same exact problem with both Komplete 3 and Maschine 2. Library tab under Preferences show black just as you, and nothing else works.

    Have you found any solution to this problem on your end, either with support or by yourself?
