Key Split in Vintage Organs not working?

The manual says "If the MODE is set to KEY SPLIT, then this key is specified here. Any note above or including this note will play the upper manual, any note below this one will play the lower manual."

I don't get this to work. Any values I give the Key Split (e.g. C2) have no effect. The Mode button on the Organ is set to Key Split. If I change it to Lower, the whole keyboard has the Lower sound, and if set to Upper, the whole keyboard has the Upper sound.

One of the key words in all of this seems to be 'Omni'. I think you need to read the manual thoroughly and it will all work.

Open the PDF and do a search for 'key split'

Thanks for your input, Gee_Flat. OMNI relates to MIDI split, not Key split.

(And I have read and searched the PDF, hence the quote "If the MODE is set to KEY SPLIT etc....")

For sure, my bad. The manual explanations become convoluted with all the terms mashed together. I see where I got it wrong.

Anyway, I know you'll figure it out. It has to be one little thing you're missing.
