Komplete Kontrol S88 and yamaha FC3a pedal

Help ! I have a komplete kontrol S88 Mk2 and have been gong crazy trying to set up a yamaha FC3a pedal .. all it seem to do is make continuous sustain with any setting .

any ideas how to set it up as a half damper pedal ? .. the set up below doesn't work ..

did you power down the KB before plugging in the pedal? if not, unplug pedal, power down, plug pedal back in power up KB. Then try setting it up in KK. edit...forgot to mention, it appears you need to use the pedal B input for half damper... I say appears because that is what is being done in the instructions (but you are configuring Pedal A), but does not explicitly state it must be the B input...

Yamaha FC3A Foot Pedal setup in Komplete Kontrol with S88 Mk2

If all else fails, try this.

Mode = Continuous

Invert = switch to the right

Swap T/R = switch to the left

Assign Type = Ctrl Change

MIDI Channel = 1 ; Number = 64

Range from 0 to 127

Calibrate - Follow Instructions
