What is added in maschine plus 1.4.4 update ?
M+ shutdown takes much longer than before with 1.4.3 and shows a recover project option in every boot.

It's just a compatibility update, to ensure compatibility with the Maschine desktop software, as some of you already mentioned. Also as lots of you already said it, be careful and use only VST2 NI plug-ins if you want to transfer project to and from the Plus.
Hey all! Sorry for the wait! Maschine Plus 1.4.5 is finally here and fixes this bug.
MASCHINE+ (NativeOS 1.4.5.2 incl. MASCHINE 2.16.1-0) is now available to update.
This is a hotfix release that fixes the issue of maschines irregular/slow shutdown. No other features/fixes are included.
We can be happy if we get the fix before Christmas and before Berlin is on holiday till mid-January.
where can i download the previous version of Maschine 2 for Apple M1? @Nico_NI and @Jeremy_NI please help.
Oh, thanks ! I'm very new with the hardware, and I thought the "File" menu was the only access to my projects. I'm relieved, the issues here are annoying, but at least it isn't completely broken 😅

I completely agree with this.
To me it's just an inconvenience rather than a massive problem which is why I've kept quiet other than my initial comment confirming the problem, but I did take issue with the comments around testing. NI are a professional software company, not just average users. There should be QA testers running through scripts covering new features along with regression testing for existing functionality. Had this bug only occurred after a particular sequence of events then yeah, that could easily slip though, but consistently being able to reproduce it on something as simple as shutting down is pretty poor.
It is not pessimistic or acting superior to expect a company of this size to do things properly...
I've only owned my Plus for 3 weeks, 2 of which have had this bug. And now I receive an email offering 200 euro cashback which I missed out on by buying 2 weeks early. My own fault I guess, but it's hard not to feel a bit bitter 😁
@Jeremy_NI how is the hotfix going? Can we hope to get it soon? Could you give us a hint please? A few days? A few weeks? More than that? Thanks.
@badaz I got in touch with the M+ team. It seems they found the source of the issue, they are now testing it. We can't really give a date, as this will only bring dissatisfaction if ther date is not met.

New Maschine+ user here. Just lost a project that I put a lot of work into. This is insane. Any update on this? Is there way to revert back to the previous software version?
There have been no previous reports of this bug causing lost projects afaik.
What happened? Did it crash while you were working on the project? If you saved it are you looking in the User Browser under Projects?
Yes you’re right @D-One it was still in the user part. Disappeared from the “recent” projects list though. And the Recent projects list gets cleared every time the device restarts or shuts down. This is an obvious bug. Other users are reporting it too, not just me (see quoted messages above). Any updates or ETA on a fix? And is there any way to revert back to the previous software version?
