GUI design: adventures in Blender.

Hi everyone!

I've started experimenting with Blender. I'm trying to rebuild a 2D design i made into 3D. The process is already well underway because i waited for the new forum to launch before starting a thread.

The idea is to, when everything is built up, render each panel element separately so that what you will see in Reaktor is a top view like this, with all the controls in perspective view.

Still plenty of work to do on this before i can start to try rendering and compositing, but so far it's going pretty good.

I don't have many details right now, and i'm learning as i go, but more later.

Anyway, the graphics are marvellous (as are all of these!)--looks a little like if a Gates Sta-Level and an 1176 got frisky.

Building a basic subtractive wavetable mono synth, using Bolabo's ILO macro for the oscillators.

This is a remake and redesign of a synth named "Dowager" that i used to have on the User Library. The old one was based off of ZooTook's build of his "Juice" synth.

This new version, i built myself (except for the oscillators). I also created my own wavetables for this synth. The GUI design is inspired by a bunch of classic mono synths.

So, this is Dowager 2.0.
