Well it says right there "platform update" and high resolution interfaces etc, so there would have to be some update to Reaktor. It probably won't be the multi-core update with all of the important features builders have been asking for but at least it would have to be something added to what currently exists.

Yeah but if you follow the sources there is actually only one and that is the comment by Matt - everything else is conjecture. I wouldn't expect AI to realise that
yup. That alongside the new SuperSaw plugin which seems build upon whatever technology finally becomes (or not).
It sounds like it might be a modern wrapper around the Reaktor engine, including Core. If so, that would certainly work for me.
I think that Reaktor Core remains the best way for non-C++ programmers to deliver DSP. Just try delivering DSP in JUCE, for example. It hurts. Even HISE, which is much easier, requires installing and understanding a C++ development environment on your computer.
There are no plans for a Reaktor 7, only one comment from Matthew that got quoted out of context and spiraled into these speculations.

@Jeremy_NI Would be great to clarify what is going on there. Quite a lot of Reaktor Developers want to know what's going on. Conflicting messages from people working at NI in this Forum just makes us crazy. We need legit official announcements. Is Reaktor still being worked on?
Will there be VST export, scalable interfaces, Multicore Support? It's been years since the Reaktor 6.5 beta. Will there be an open beta Period? We need legit information on the future of Reaktor!!!
