I didn't have much patience for inconsistency of Komplete Kontrol version 3 and that is why I still use version 2.
Now they come with NKS I would just use those, it was a lot of working keeping them all updated
There are 2 separate libraries. The "Official Library" for approved NKS partners is the main view you see and if a plugin supports NKS officially it should appear there, if not you have to contact the plugin developer since they are responsible for support of their integration.
For user provided libraries these appear in the USER library browser (if you installed them correctly) which you switch to with this button:
There are ways to create a folder where you can then have libraries appear in the factory browser along with everything else but things to consider are, libraries in the factory browser cannot be edited (cannot add/change tagging or make saves to templates) so for this reason many choose to keep libraries they want to customise in the User browser
Also bear in mind for the ones I made (and I think several other contributors) we named the developer Universal Audio - taking out the (UADx) because experienced NKS creators know non alphabetical or numerical characters have historically caused problems with NKS being able to locate resources like graphics. It turns out when UA finally created their own it wasn't a problem after all but we started making ours years before they did so we couldn't have known what they intended to use as the vendor name in their NKS.
Thanks for the responses. I'll keep pursuing. Kymeia, I was able to get your NKS templates working in the User library. They're great. Thanks for the significant investment of time you put in on those.
I'll keep pursuing with UAD and NI as to why UADx plugins are not showing up un the Official Library, since it seems they should be an approved NKS partner.

I took the easy way out and put all my custom nks files in one of the standard nks libraries and they all show up in factory (I used the Kontakt 2 Library folder), but it is important to remember where you put them if you do that.

Thank you for all this. So the standard Universal Audio plugin install does not include nksf presets? I assumed when UA announced NKS support, that meant they would also provide the presets…but perhaps not? So we still need the User Library installs in addition? Thank you for any clarification.
Yes they do include them now - but these were created well before official NKS support
Just wanted to let you know to those who know how much that i contributed in that forum that following Hard drives issue I've lost all my hard work and years of NKS making, Reaktor NKS ready instruments. I am now starting from ground zero. Hard to swallow, very discouraging and unfair all in all-10 back ups would not have helped me on this one. Well I am still alive so I am going to do this harder, better, stronger again. Wish me luck please, I am going to need it .
Sorry to hear that, if there are any Reaktor ens or NKS you posted it's possible I have copies backed up or maybe some are in the NKS dropbox?
