Hello guys,
90% of the DJs aournd the world has an iPAD as a backup tool. Meanwhile, there’s not Serato or Virtual DJ for iPAD. Native Instruments has the opportunity of creating a light Traktor version for the iPAD in a reasonable price like $49.99
This is all you are going to get unless NI change their mind in the future:
https://www.native-instruments.com/en/press-area/djing/traktor-dj-2/
It's free and for iPad, PC, and Mac. Download by using Native Access. Works with S2MK3, S3 (2 decks only) and i think Z1MK1, but i am not sure about the latter. It's already half a dozen of years old and won't get any patches.
Edit: Apple app store:

If you want a DJ app for iPad I would highly recommend Algoriddim's Djay Pro. Probably the best selling DJ app on the platform, and also works on smartphones, Macs and PCs.
Maybe in the future if Apple deccides to run MacOS on iPads. Otherwise the chances are slim.
My mind is still blown that you can run DVS on iPhone with Algoriddim DJay…
DVS was possible even in the very first iPad. More details at the link.

Said that… IMO it seems DVS left being the focus for djing software companies since long ago.
Yes, DVS was the original solution for how DJs would interact with the new fangled DJ software that had arrived, because at the time dedicated controllers were thin on the ground.
Numark released the DMC-1 and this was back when computers had serial interfaces. Rack mount so no platters. Eventually they switched to USB but still rack mount for a while.
Now controllers are more common than turntables, so there's less need (except for the hardcore scratch DJs).

Only people who use an iPad themselves believe that. ^^
Where can I find this statistic? I would be really interested to know.
I don’t feel those numbers are real neither. The only source I know with some statistics is the digitaldjtips census but…
2025 results are a “free” download (after putting yourself into the newsletter mailing list)

I can feel a growing interest in Djay Pro since it’s multiplatform and has Stems + AI grids but not sure how “big” that trend could be. In fact I feel djing as a field shrinking as time goes… more users due bigger market but the curve “total amount of new potential users vs adoption rate of djing tools” feels slowed since the pandemic boom… maybe these are using other tools so it’s just I don’t see them in my algorythm…?
Also not so many hardware development in the field or almost just incremental releases… or decremental in the case of Traktor MX2 and future MX4 where NI ditched the motorised factor. New modular are incremental but not disruptive and I can’t think on any brand doing wow releases… the latest interesting things had been Hercules T7 with belt-driven motorised platters at half the Rane One the price, CRSS12 hybrid turntable at 3 times the regular turntable price (lol) and Phase Pro which hasn’t been released yet AFAIK…
Maybe it’s me just getting old :V

Perhaps fake email addresses don't work. The link in the form doesn't look very trustworthy: https://a013af.digitaldjtips.com/c/wx3hvpzw1u1w17ep5ga5/
I don't want to enter a valid email address there.🙂
Nevertheless, thank you.
I've now managed to do it with a fake E-Mail too.🤣
I would not bet on there being a new iOS app any time soon.
@Lord-carlos
Yes, I think so too because converting bugs for a new system would be very frustrating.🤫😂
I also believe that a long-standing and experienced TRAKTOR user, ideally a (MODERATOR), should join the NI TRAKTOR works council in order to adequately represent our interests and concerns.🙂
