Razor not showing in Logic AND IMPOSSIBLE TO REINSTALL after update from Komplete 14 to 15

I've updated Komplete 14 Standard to Komplete 15 Standard.

I can't find Razor as an instrument in Reaktor 6 and I can't reinstall it from Native Access (infamous "Installation Failed: You may need to grant full disk access to Native Access and the Daemon" error message — see picture below).

I was using Razor with Reaktor 5 — which I uninstalled — and in old projects with Razor active (through Reaktor 5), I see its UI when I open the instrument's panel BUT of course it asks for Reaktor 5, which is not present (see picture below).

If I switch Logic track's instrument from Reaktor 5 to Reaktor 6, I lose Razor's UI and I see this thing instead (see picture below).

I was thinking of trying to reinstall also Reaktor 5 (which can live along with Reaktor 6) BUT I don't know how: Native Access doesn't show me Reaktor 5 as an available install — only Reaktor 6 (which is already installed — see picture below).

So, now:

• I can't see Razor in Reaktor 6;

• trying to install Razor looks impossible;

• I can't find a way to install Reaktor 5 (to try to use Razor from there).

Any idea how I can reinstall Razor, or install Reaktor 5 at least?

P.S. Of course, Native Access has complete access to my Mac's disk (see picture below).

I think that is to be expected since Reaktor 6 will not auto replace Reaktor 5 in your DAW , if you want to use old projects then you should not have removed the old Reaktor 5…

Reaktor 5 is not officially supported on your OS (which might explain why it does not show in N.A. on your OS) : Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on macOS

I am not a Mac user so I can not tell if Reaktor 5 will actually work anyway….

But here is a download for Reaktor 5.9.4 for Mac , in case of download problems then try logging in into Google first, if that doesn't help then copy the download to own Google drive before the download. The above ought to help you circumvent the download limit.

P.S.

Because N.A. is very with respect to recovering from failed installation (and downloads ?) then it is possible that even if you install something manually then it might not automatically fix the stuck state in N.A: , instead that might require further tinkering… (Sorry I don't make N.A. I am am just trying to assist)

Native Instruments product install can easily become a nightmare…

I can't think of anything else to try. I love Razor and I'd like to have it back: any idea how?

By the way, I opened an old project using Razor only to gather information and see what was happening there. I'd like to use Razor in new projects.

I think I'll open a ticket for this — even if Native Instruments support NEVER replied to my previous ticket.

I am a bit stretched here and I am handicapped by lack of proper documentation and the fact that things change without any notice to us in the forum

Are you still using intel Mac or have you switched to Apple Silicon ?

Logic might need a reset/rescan once the app has been installed (?) : Plug-in Administration in Logic Pro .

It is possible that you need an older version of Native access for activation , for some older apps you need that for some not , in this case I will have to ask. Also problem could be that the app is not properly installed.

I think that I will have to call for Mac expert , we did get your legacy libraries installed but this I think needs @Jeremy_NI , Jeremy_NI 'robegian' needs help with installing and activating Reaktor 5 and Razor on his MacOS 15.7.2 computer. He already has download links but there appear to be problems installing and activating.

no, the Razor does not need Reaktor 5, it works great in Reaktor 6.

One of the OPs complaints was that he had trouble replacing the Reaktor 5 with Reaktor 6 in old DAW projects. However OP now says that he no longer needs Reaktor 5 anyway….

Yes of course — I installed all the rest of the Komplete 15 Standard package with that.
