Absynth still works perfectly on Sonoma 14.8.2 and Logic Pro 11.2.2.
Does it also still work on Sequoia?

The first response "Absynth runs fine on Sequoia 15.1 as long as you are running it in Rosetta mode" sounds pretty clear to me.
AU plugins run in a Rosetta conversion 'layer' behind the scenes so the host itself can still run in native - it's very useful. Works like that in any AU host, not just Logic. So Rosetta still needs to be installed but the host doesn't need to be in Rosetta mode.
My install of Absynth was done on Sonoma so I have not tried installing it on Sequoia but it's in Native Access and as far as I know one of the main reasons ntkdaemon still needs Rosetta (that everyone seems to complain about) is for legacy plugins like this to be authorisable.
Thanks, unfortunately that thread does not give a clear yes or no.
Yes, I know, you are right. What made me doubtful is of course not what Kymeia said ( he is a legend after all) but the rest of the thread where it was unclear that you could actually install it properly. On the other hand I guess if it is installed OK now, then upgrading to Sequoia would not destroy that installation. Also, I am not running in Rosetta mode (Logic that is). It seems that a kind of "mini"-Rosetta is used on Intel 64 plugins, but without intervention of the user. That part also made me wonder. Did he mean you have to run Logic in Rosetta or is it the same as what I have now, this "mini"-Rosetta.
Thanks Kymeia and PK The DJ, that settles it for me.
Everything works fine for me.
Thanks Alphamunk, more and more confirmation coming in!
songman, thank you!
One thing I love about Absynth is using the satellite windows to see all synthesis options at once (also using it in Surround mode - I don't have any other synths that do surround natively)
I successfully installed Absynth on my M4 Studio Sequoia. However I haven't quite been game to try it out in Logic or standalone until I know more of what peoples experiences are.
