Hello I just bought a audio technica to listen to records. I havent figured out how to connect the record player to my traktor s3, i dont know if its even possible. Could someone please help me out?
Traktor Kontrol S3 has only a line (or mic) level input. You need either a turntable with integrated phono pre amp or an external phono pre amp to connect it to your S3. You connect it to Line In D on the back of your S3.
I’m having problems connecting my 1210 turntable to the s3. Done all the rca cables correctly but it’s the software. When going to output routing and output routing it doesn’t have analogue , like it suggest on the website
Output routing is for signals going OUT of the device. You need to go to input routing.
I get the same in input routing mate
What can you choose on the input routing? mate.
says that mate
That should be the correct input.
tried that and it still doesn’t work
Do you have a phono preamp between your 1210 and your S3? The S3 only has a line level input and no phono level input. 1210s don't feature an internal preamp. Phono levels are much lower than line levels, they maybe just to quiet.
hi, I have rca from the 1210 into pre amp input. Then output from pre amp to line D in back of the S3,
this is on my setup page
this is on my output page
this is my input page
no mention of analogue anywhere , like it indicates on the NI page
sorry for slow reply, I’m in Australia and the time zones would maybe be different pending where both you guys are in the world
