thank you for this one
Ahoy there, @Vagus! I couldn't seem to get your Taped Vibes pack working. The images didn't display and Komplete Kontrol couldn't load the instrument. Is there something dumb I am missing? (I've installed a load of other NKS packs which work fine, so I presume I'm doing the correct steps, but you never know!) Thanks for putting these together by the way - your hard work is much appreciated! <3
FYI @Radiant I had to move the Taped Vibes folder under a "steinberg media technologies" folder in images and dist_database and everything worked fine…. in case that's helpful?
Very correct.
Product folder must be inside Vendor folder.
Thanks for the tips, @TallerThanPenguins and @Sunborn - that got the images working… but now I get the error message: Loading Issue: Taped Vibes could not be loaded. Any other suggestions to get me over the line? Do I need to put the Taped Vibe directory in my Halion directory? ❤️
One reason for this might be that the presets were made with the VST2 version of the plugin and now you are using the VST3 version. This means that this plugin does not support vst2-to-vst3 automatic migration. In this case (if this is the case, I'm not a Mac user) the NKS presets has to be re-made with the VST3 version.
Hey Radiant, Do you have HALion SE, or HALion - mine were made in HALion, not SE. I will doule check them this afternoon though, just in case.
Thanks once again for the help! I have HALion Sonic 7. Not SE. It is VST3 through. Does that mean I'm outta luck?
Hi folks,
I am attempting to build an NKS library for Halion 7. I am aware than there are paid works out there but they seem to be missing content so I decided to do it myself. The Problem I am finding is that Halion does not have a dedicated set of patches locally on disk, unlike other synths like Serum 2 or Spire. I'm also using Apple Automator to automate the process which works kinda well for most things but without being able to generate or view a list on the file system for patches, the only way to get the patch name before saving a KK preset is by hitting the save button in Halion 7 and then backing out after copying its name. Problem is this works in Windows but on MacOS you hit CMD+C and it doesn't copy (makes the little MacOS error blip noise). Has anyone done any work with Halion 7 and Komplete Kontrol NKS?
Cheers,
Kirk
what content is missing? Can always look into updates if I know what is missing but other than expansion content, all core content is available to the best of my knowledge.
