I've always been using Kontakt 6.8.0 because that's how my sounds are saved.
Recently I installed Kontakt 8 Player from Native Access and I believe that had caused the problem somehow. And now I can't open up lots of projects without crashing in Logic Pro.
I'm finding that in standalone mode, Kontakt is missing a lot of my later purchased Instruments, that seemed to have caused the problem. It's only showing me products that I had from like the first bundle, and it was never like that before. I'm having Kontakt, Kontakt 7 and 8 opened at the same time, and as you can see from the picture, all instruments are there except for the follwing:
Analog Dreams , Butch Vig Drums, Cloud Supply, Ethereal Earth, Glaze, Horizon Keys, Hypha, Lo-Fi Glow, Modular Icons, Noire, Electric Sunburst Deluxe, Picked Acoustic, Stradivari Violin, Twenty Five
I had tried:
Reinstall Kontakt,
Delete Kontakt 8 (Then Intall it back),
Delete Kontakt (Then Intall it back),
Delete Native Access folder under /user/Share (That appears to be the solution for a different problem than what I'm having, but I tried it anyway),
Reinstall some missing instruments,
Give it full disk access,
Delete Kontakt folder and follow these steps (I'm not sure it's supposed to happen, but there isn't a Komplete.db3 file in there, and relaunching the standalone app doesn't seem like it's scanning anything, just pop right up the same way, I tried this for both paths, one from the user/Library and one that's just /Library, so there isn't a mistake there),
Rescan and update from the Database tab (By the way, the instruments folders are in there)
I really don't know what else to do, I want to open my projects and this has been very frustrating.
Please, if anybody can help! I already opened up a customer support ticket and in talks, it hasn't solved my problem so far either.
