is it possible to set Traktor 4 Pro software to read out the positions of hardware encoders (X1 MK3) at start. It is very annoying to bring all the physical encoders to the last saved state of the software encoders.

Short answer: No.
Longer answer: The knobs are used for multiple software parameters and so (to prevent sudden parameter jumps) use soft-takeover functions internally. These prevent the jumps when switching the controls from one (or no) parameter to a different parameter, which is exactly what is going on when leaving the setup mode after connecting the device.
If you are only using a single combination of parameters (like ONLY EVER FX 1 and FX 2), you can manually override the knob controls in controller manager with the corresponding parameters, skipping soft-takeover (not checking the checkbox) in the process. If you do, you won't have to align the hardware with the software position. Software value will automatically follow the hardware, even if a parameter jump is necessary.
You can map a key on your keyboard to set all deck/mixer/FX values to a specific value (like middle position, FX OFF, KEYLOCK OFF, etc). You will need to go through every value that is important to you.
Hint: Experiment with Send Monitor State Output command.
Thank you! So there is no way to globally reset the soft-takeover on a start-up? In a new session, it is more the software settings from yesterday or last week which causes the jumps..
