Why is NI only publishing KONTAKT instruments for years now and no new or updated synths?

Hi there,

I am a big fan of the NI products and use the KOMPLETE package for years now. Besides KONTAKT, I am also a big fan of NI‘s native synths and effects. However, over the last couple of years, there haven’t been any major updates to synths and effects like years ago for REAKTOR, for instance. When will NI continue to (further) develop their synth portfolio?

You appear as not having read the recent "July 2025 – a community update from our Chief Product & Technology Officer" . If you still feel the same way after having read the thread then you can ask the N.I. CPO afterwards in the thread !

I am happy to see that my post was successfully published since I received an error message over the last couple of days when trying to place the post above. I haven't seen the July 2025 community update yet; however, this reads very promising, and I am looking forward to what's to come this year!

Yes , your posts were caught in the automatic forum spam filter , it must have been triggered somehow. But I approved the above here on last Tuesday.

Alas the "July 2025 community update" is now closed for new questions , but news is there still and I hope that they are to your liking 🙂
